Things were going pretty good then this Christmas thing came along. I'm still trying to figure it out but here is what I have so far.

They put a tree in the house! Wait it gets worse, they put lights and stuff all over it. I have to admit the lights are very fascinating as I'm starting to notice things like that now. Next lots of bright colored boxes were put under it. I'll get back to the tree later.

Christmas eve we went to church. I thought it would be pretty normal, next thing I know I'm up in front of all these people and get this, everyone is pretending that I'm baby Jesus. Well this goes on for a while so I just shut my eyes and wish for it to be over. After it's over everyone kept saying what a wonderful baby Jesus I was. Even Pastor Dave had some kind words. Maybe this acting like I'm someone else in front of people is my thing?

Several people came to the house after church and I got held and passed around a lot. That part was not too bad. The next morning, Josh and Kacy got up early, they were very excited about something. They kept saying about some dude named Santa and they had lots new stuff. Stuff, what is that? So next Mom starts pulling all those colored boxes out from under the tree and wrapping paper was in the air. Josh and Kacy were out of control. Speaking of out of control, hang on.

Toby started acting funny and digging under the tree. I just figured it was normal dog/tree stuff. Then about that time something started moving under the tree skirt. Get this, a big mouse runs out from under the tree! It runs straight into the big pile of paper from the boxes and hid. Now everyone is really excited, especially since one of the cats was sleeping in the paper. No one knew what to do so they just kept on opening the presents with the mouse hiding in the paper. Finally when opening the boxes was finished everyone concentrated on the paper, they opened up the back door and flushed the mouse out of the house. I have to say this whole Christmas thing is now very exciting.

Wow, that's all over so now everyone is just playing with stuff and eating and they keep saying, "I can't believe Christmas is over already". All I want to know is what does a mouse have to do with Jesus? Exciting day, it's now 8:30 and I'm heading to bed. I've been sleeping all night for about 3 weeks now. My mom is sure happy about that. I got weighed at the doctor about a week ago and was 9 lb. 3 oz. I'm eating very well but the doctor still says I should be gaining more weight. Seems like it affects them more than me cause I'm very happy and not worried about weight at all.

My Mom goes back to work on a couple of weeks. I can't tell from her talking about it if this is a good thing or not. Guess I'll find out.
